What is feed through capacitor?

Feed through capacitor is three-terminal capacitor, named by its hollow physical structure. Low-frequency signals /power are output and input by shielding cavity,  passing through feed through capacitor and be filtered part of noises. Therefore, feedthrough capacitor is used mostly in the field of High-frequency, Super high-frequency and microwave equipments.


It's mainly a kind of ceramic capacitor. Temperature characteristics of my company is X7R, NPO, SL, KL, Y5V, Y5U and Y5P.

Installation way: Through hole.
Feed thru capacitors, whose inductance is far lessen than common capacitors. Meanwhile, to prevent efffectively high-frequency signal coupling directly from input end to output end by through hole installation way. It reach good inhibitory effect by combination between low-pass and Hi-impedance within 1Ghz frequency.

Type of Circuit:
C section:   One capacitor structure.
Pi sectionConnection of 2 capacitors with 1 inductor.
LCsection:  Connection of capacitor with inductor.
T  section:    Connection of 2 inductors with 1 capacitor.
